QTA Internet Course

Teachers

Two experts will guide you through the strange world of orientation space and pole figure projections:

Magali Morales, Maître de Conférences, IUFM, LERMAT-ISMRA.

Daniel Chateigner, Professor, IUT, Université de Caen, CRISMAT-ISMRA.

They totalise over 200 orientation distribution and structure determinations using diffraction experiments.

M. Morales is a specialist of structural determinations of magnetic compounds using diffraction and local spectroscopies like XCMD and Mossbauer, and of the anisotropic magnetic property simulation from texture experiments.

D. Chateigner is author of papers on methodologies related to the QTA development using powder diffraction and of the software POFINT. He participates in the testing of the Berkeley Texture Package BEARTEX, and in part of the definition of the Multiple Analysis Using Diffraction expert package MAUD involved in the ESQUI consortium.
