Inadvertently, we put a very old German version
of Wintek on the server during August. Please, download the current
version.
WinTek (A. Peterek & S. Krumm, April 1996): analysis of structural data (Schmidt net, rose, Hoeppener etc., contours, statistics, eigenvectors). Would you like to have a first look on WinTek's desktop? Here is an introduction to WinTek. And here is some help on problems with WinTek. If you have download problems, try this link. |
Crossbed
V0.9 Are you doing rotation of crossbed measurements by hand? Why
not letting CROSSBED do this for you... (S. Krumm, July 1995)
WinFit!
V1.2 package for complete profile-analysis of x-ray reflections.
Click here to see how to use
the new features! (S. Krumm,
December 1996)
?
*** Fitted peaks can be substracted from the pattern *** Calculation of
derivatives *** Files/Fits can be saved under a different name *** Commandline
Options / network version *** Drag & Drop of files from the file manager
or Explorer *** Reads ASCII files of Eberl and Bish (LANL) *** A serious
bug, killing resources, is fixed now!!!
If you have problems with Winfit please check

section or read the Frequently
asked Questions.
WinStruct,
experimental version:
WinQ-Fac!
calculation of the broadening descriptor "Q" (Reynolds, 1989) for mixed
layer clays; separation of mixed-layer and crystallite size broadening,
identification of mixed layer species. (S. Krumm, September 1995)
Atterberg
a program for calculation of settling times, grain diameters, falling heights
(S. Krumm, June 1994)
Centrifuge
calculates settling times for grain-size separation by centrifuge methods
(S. Krumm, June 1994)
Theta
calculator like program for conversion of 2-theta to d-values and viceversa,
all common wavelengths with alpha, alpha1, alpha2, beta. Now supporting
input of mm-chart reading! (S. Krumm, August 1995)

now handles up to 2000 datapoints.
StereoNet is a user friendly tool to display, change and analyze
orientational data. It displays data in different views: as text, in equal
area / equal angle upper / lower hemisphere projection, etc. using diffent
symbols, colors etc and also shows great circles, small circles and displacement
vectors. Additionally, StereoNet rotates the data as well as computes some
simple statistical parameter. StereoNet also contours data densities and
computes paleostress directions from fault-slip data. Included is a little
help file, and an example- dataset.
Dana
App is a hard-coded database-like mineral reference for Windows.
You point and click your way through the systematic classification of minerals...no
search tools...but it is an excellent way for the student or novice to
familiarize him/herself with systimatic mineralogy. It is freeware...and
if people like it and let the author know..I'll get going on a real database
project that include search tools and reports for keeping track of personal
mineral-hand specimen-and paleontology collections. Maybe you need
VBRUN300.DLL
to get things work!

Stuffit Expander: A dezipper, decompressor, debinhexer, deuuencoder!
