Inadvertently, we put a very old German version of Wintek on the server during August. Please, download the current version.

TriDraw 1.5

It lets you to work with up to 200 points, distributed in 20 groups.

It lets you to superpose Overlay files, definable by the user, with different line styles. The Overlay file is saved together with the data for greater versatility.

TriDraw 2.6, by Jose I. Hualde. The new Win95/NT version! It now handles up to 2000 datapoints.
StereoNet is a user friendly tool to display, change and analyze orientational data. It displays data in different views: as text, in equal area / equal angle upper / lower hemisphere projection, etc. using diffent symbols, colors etc and also shows great circles, small circles and displacement vectors. Additionally, StereoNet rotates the data as well as computes some simple statistical parameter. StereoNet also contours data densities and computes paleostress directions from fault-slip data. Included is a little help file, and an example- dataset.

Dana App is a hard-coded database-like mineral reference for Windows. You point and click your way through the systematic classification of minerals...no search tools...but it is an excellent way for the student or novice to familiarize him/herself with systimatic mineralogy. It is freeware...and if people like it and let the author know..I'll get going on a real database project that include search tools and reports for keeping track of personal mineral-hand specimen-and paleontology collections. Maybe you need VBRUN300.DLL to get things work!

MudMaster is a computer program, developed at the U.S. Geological Survey and written by D. D. Eberl, V. Drits, J. Srodon and R Nuesch, that calculates crystallite size distributions and strain for minerals from X-ray diffraction data. This program was developed to measure particle size distributions for minerals in rocks and soils, because particle size data may yield geological information about a mineral's provenance, degree of metamorphism, degree of weathering, etc. Click here for further information.
