Commercial users must obtain permission for its use.

Since January 2005 Oscail has been available via msi install files. New users (or new PCs) should have no problem using these install files. They should work with Win98, Win 2000, Winxp and Winxp 64. The msi files require "windows installer 2.0" This should be on most PCs but can also be downloaded from Microsoft. Users updating pre 2005 versions should read this note. If you have problems getting Oscail to work try un-install using the control panel and then re-install.

Oscail-X Full version (18 Mbyte) Full system oscail.msi

Moilin (6 Mbyte) Molecular Modelling moilin.msi
Moilin will work in stand alone mode or under Oscail and will use Tinker Files if Tinker has been installed in \program files\tinker on the same disk drive as Moilin

Ritmol (4 Mbyte) (ritmol.zip expands to ritmol.msi) More than 2x speed of first windows version
