Notes: I'm working on a PPD file for the GhostScript PDFwrite device. Current setup: Widows 9x/NT/2000/XP GhostScript 7.x || 8.x Win32 REDMON Windows PS driver Acrobat Distiller 5 PPD and a little script that feeds the PS file into GhsotScript along with some distiller params and puts the output e.g. into a directory on the users desktop. files are named like the queue name. current disadvantage: distiller parameters cannot be dynamically set by the user (e.g. compat level, or screen/ebook/printer etc.) the PPD will also include ALL common paper formats I'm aware of. if you have a cups or samba print server you certainly dont need REDMON.
