Parking around Glasgow University
Private car parking around the University is difficult. There will probably be no University
parking spaces close to the Joseph Black Building, and these parking spaces are for permit holders
only. You may get a notice slapped on your windows, or even get towed if you park there !
Free parking is available on many of the side streets off Byres Road. Other options include Dumbarton Road and Great George Street.
'Pay and Display' parking is available along University Avenue and Southpark Avenue at a cost of £1.20 for 4 hours.
