This program calculates the Fourier Transform (diffraction
pattern) of a two dimensional point set. It is essentially the
same as fourier.exe but offers a
Graphical User Interface and some routines for the creation and
manipulation of the data set. Due to the 16-color graphics mode
it is not possible to have many different grey tones for the
image, however, in the PS-output you have a more realistic
intensity distribution. The onscreen display is just a convenient
way to see directly where intensities would occur.
Screen Example
After creating a motif (structure element of the point set)you can manipulate this using several given symmetry operations to create a point set. You can also import an already completed point set.
