PTableDB

10. Oct. 2000.

1. Introduction

PTableDB is a 32-bit periodic table utility for Windows 95/98, which uses database. Physical, chemical, nuclear and other information of all of elements is included in the database, and user can search the data fast by this utility.
In the periodic table, elements written in red letters have gas states at room temperature, in blue letters liquid states, and in black letters solid states. The elements written in gray letters are not exist in nature. This means that they are artificial elements.
All the data included in PTableDB except for isotope data were refered from IUPAC homepage. Isotope data were refered from Table of Isotopes (Wiley Interscience, 1996).

2. Licence

PTableDB is a freeware. Every one can use this utility freely for personal purpose. However, any modifications and/or addition are forbidden by the author. The author hope have redisribution information of PTableDB.
Using PTableDB for commercial purpose without agreement of the author is absolutely forbidden by the author.
The author don't have any resposibility on all troubles occuring due to this utility program. Users have to do all on their own risk.

3. Manual of PTableDB
Basic data of an element pointed out mouse pointer are shown at the top of the table. When mouse pointer moves to other element, the basic data are updated automatically. Please refer then next section about basic data.
When mouse is clicked on an element, basic data are not changed by moving mouse pointer. Automatic updating of the basic data is restarted by clicking again.
User can open an element data window by double-clicking on an element. more detail data are shown in the element data window.
When "X-ray" button clicked, whole X-ray table is shown.
