PATE takes input from the GSAS *.R01 and *.P01 (the binary reflection and
binary profile pattern files) and outputs two files:

*.pat  - 4 columns ASCII of angle (degrees),  observered intensity,
           calculated intensity and difference (intensity)
*.ref  - 2 columns ASCII of angle of tick marks and 2nd column is the
           phase number of the Tick Mark.
