This Vanadium complex anion crystallized as a tetra-n-butyl ammonium salt. The compound crystallized in space group P 21/n with unit cell parameters of a = 13.228(3), b = 16.054(4), c = 14.714(2), and beta = 93.24(1) degrees. The final R factors for the structure were R = 0.051 and Rw = 0.047. GoF = 1.33. The data was collected at -130 deg C.

Because our facility is currently being renonvated, the data was collected at UNC Chapel Hill in Dr. Peter White's Laboratory. The crystal was produced by the Cornman research group as part of their ongoing research into the bio-inorganic chemistry of Vanadium.
