Scene Parameters

Material properties, light model and other properties of scene can be adjusted in this dialog.

Use 'Save' button to save scene properties to an external file.
Use 'Load' button to load scene properties from a file.
Use 'Rendering Quality' objects to specify quality of real-time picture. The better the quality the slower the drawing happens.
'Picture Quality' - affect only output resulting picture. This setting can be previewed, using corresponding command in main menu.
Press 'Preview' button to see the result of changes.
'Labels Font' button launches standard 'Select Font'  dialog. The font parameters will be used for drawing of atom labels.
'Lights Setup' button opens 'Lights Setup' window, where scene lights can be enabled, disabled and adjusted.
'Conic Bond Radii' - use this option to change parameters of stereo bonds. The change has global effect.

Use 'Gradient' button to apply special features to the resulting pictures

Material properties

Ambient specifies the ambient RGBA reflectance of the material.
Diffuse specifies the diffuse RGBA reflectance of the material.
Specular specifies the specular RGBA reflectance of the material.
Emission specifies the RGBA emitted light intensity of the material.
Shininess specifies the RGBA specular exponent of the material.

Light Model

Scene Light specifies the ambient RGBA intensity of the entire scene.
Local Viewer specifies how specular reflection angles are computed
Two Side specifies whether one- or two-sided lighting calculations are done for polygons
Smooth Shadows specifies smooth or flat shadows will be used

Color Material

The set of parameters specifies which material parameters track the current colour.

Other Parameters

Background colour specifies background of scene
Image Color specifies the colour of the image copied into the clipboard
Conic bond radii specifies radii for stereo conic bonds
Line width specifies line width of all objects in the scene
Labels font brings up the dialog, which allow you to select font, and its properties of atom labels

Buttons

Save Allows to save current material and lightening parameters to file
Load Allows to load previously saved material and lightening parameters from file
Light Setup Allows to set-up specific light properties. See ‘Lightening Setup’ Dialog
