Program Versions

Frequently, apparent problems with any of my programs can be traced back to version problems with one of the libraries (DLL files) accompanying the executable proper. For that purpose, I am listing the versions of all program parts on this page. To find out the version information, you can use in the executable the Help|About box. An approach that works for all files is to use Microsoft Explorer, to select the desired file with the mouse, and query the properties of the file (via the menue Files|Properties, or the mouse right-click context menue: Properties, or by pressing ALT-ENTER). The tab with general information gives, among other, the file size in bytes, while the "version" tab displays the file version, the entry "product version" displays product version and compilation date.
