I installed Ghostscript 8.00 in my SUN SPARC Solaris machine. I double checked that under /usr/local/share/ghostscript/8.00/lib/fonts and /usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/outline I have p052023l.pfb and n021023l.pfb there. Why they could not be found by gs ?
My environment variable for GS is set as : echo $GS_FONTPATH /usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/outline venus[root]: echo $GS_LIB /usr/local/share/ghostscript/8.00/lib/fonts usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/Type1 /usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/Type3
