Recent Inorganic Structures from Chemical Crystallography, Glasgow

This is a view of the unit cell of [BiI2(hpma)4][I5] showing how the cations are packed in a pseudo cage of the disordered anion. See Acta Cryst. (1998) C54 476-479.

This is a pendant-armed N-N-O macrocyclic complex of Ni(II) with an alcohol arm ligated to the Ni atom. The alcohol is hydrogen bonded to one of the PF6 anions, and this picture shows that the two van der Waals spheres are in contact.
