Overview
DRXWin is a computer program for Windows which lets you
work with X-Ray diffraction files coming from several
diffractometers (Siemens, Philips, Rigaku, Stoe, Seifert, etc.),
and Rietveld programs like FullProf and RIET7. The main
performances are:
- Plot diagrams (maximum 9) in an overlapped or stepped way.
- Make zooms, add comments and grids, change axis divisions,
etc.
- Customize XRD patterns color and white or black for the
screen background color.
- Automatic peak search and the ability to add symbols to
peaks for labeling phases, etc.
- Save the peaks to plot afterwards as a pattern and plot
patterns of the PDF-2 database.
- Qualitative analysis by searching in pattern databases.
- 2q zero correction; background correction; smoothing;
peak area calculation; deconvolution in Gaussian,
Lorentzian or Pseudo-Voigt functions allowing to
calculate FWHM; 2q range removing; combine XRDs (add
and substract) and rescale.
- Ability to associate files to DRXWin for loading files
with double-click.
- Save files in windows metafile format to edit or merge in
any word processor like Microsoft Word, Ami Pro, etc.
- Excellent quality for printing graphics and extremely
easy to use as it runs in the Microsoft Windows
enviroment.
CreaFit is a computer program for Windows for creating
files of standard pattern database to use with DRXWin. It can
read PDF-2 database (CD-ROM) and read files of single-patterns
from DRXWin and several diffractometers.
