Chapter 5: Editing The Atom List


The user is able to edit the names and elemental types of the atoms in the current list. The following commands are available -
 
RENAME
The syntax is RENAME at1 at2 or RENAME el1 el2. Arguments are entered in pairs - the first is renamed to the second - and must be like with like. i.e. you cannot rename an atom to an element or vice versa.
 
RETYPE
This allows the user to change the element of a list of atoms.
 
ATOMS The syntax is -

RETYPE element ATOM at1 at2 at3
