HKL (or HKLM) Files
. HKL files are structure-factor (amplitude and phase) files output by other applications. When an HKL file (shown in text mode below) is opened by VEC in graphic mode, it will be displayed as that on the left. HKL files are used by VEC in the following visual computing jobs:

Dynamically displaying diffraction data
Calculating Fourier maps
Building models
