We assemble and install, new as well as used systems at customer's sites. After commissioning the system is handed over ready for operation to the final user. We take it for granted to provide a substantial introduction. This kind of service is also offered by SEIFERT when moving sites, respectively when a plant is being relocated.
SEIFERT - SERVICE
SEIFERT Service world wide readily stands by, to advise and support all SEIFERT customers in case of technical problems. Our Service-Team is aware of the fact that the availability of the equipment and systems is of utmost importance to our clients. For that reason the infrastructure of SEIFERT-Service and the training level of the team is constantly kept to the latest standards.
Internationally, service to SEIFERT products is offered and carried out either by our SEIFERT Service Headoffice, our subsidiaries or by authorised SEIFERT Service Partners. The SEIFERT authorised service partners have especially trained staff and hold the necessary equipment.
There are no authorized service partners within Germany. The site and in-house service of SEIFERT products within Germany, is exclusively provided by ourselves. Due to the centralized service of our headoffice and the local branches, we achieve optimal customer proximity and short reaction periods.
We are proud to say that SEIFERT customers acknowledge our valuable and prompt services.
To secure the technical availability and to maintain value, regular maintenance is a necessity. Within the bounds of maintenance contracts or on customer requests SEIFERT Service carries out such work in accordance to specific check-lists.
Depending on operating conditions the equipment and the systems are subject to a certain wear and tear. During an inspection by SEIFERT Service the actual condition is established , evaluated and taken down. On this basis maintenance and up-keeping suggestions to maintain a lasting value of the equipment and systems is established.

SEIFERT Service world wide repairs at customer's sites equipment and systems with the use of original SEIFERT spare parts. The staff of our Service Division have extensive knowledge in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, systems control and mechanical engineering.
On request of the client SEIFERT Service modifies or extends existing systems to meet the demands of an altered customer profile. On older systems modernisations are carried out to extend customer's benefits. Due to the modernisations economical utilisation is significantly extended.
Equipment and systems can only be optimal utilized when the operating staff is respectively well trained. SEIFERT carries out training for operation and programming of equipment and systems. In addition we offer courses for the application of radioscopy.
It is essential for our customers personnel responsible for the up-keep of the equipment and systems to have the specific knowledge on its maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair. SEIFERT performs system orientated training on customers premises.

SEIFERT products are increasingly fitted with interfaces which provides communication with the outside world. With the SEIFERT TeleService we can diagnose reasons for technical faults world wide, as well as carry out remote maintenance (for instance software up-dates) by way of modem or ISDN-router from our headoffice.
2. SEIFERT Site Service
Order acceptance and co-ordination of site and in-house services take place at our headoffice.
In case of technical problems the service telephone is readily available to our customers. Here one receives advice and required support from well trained specialists. Naturally, one also can get hold of our services by way of fax and e-mail (refer to "Your contact to SEIFERT Service).
3. SEIFERT In-house Service
A lot of customers rather only buy the service and do not keep their own personnel ready for this task. SEIFERT offers individually designed maintenance- and service contracts. If so required, please do not hesitate to get into contact with our Service Division.
Your contact to SEIFERT-Service:
Safe and prompt supply of original SEIFERT spare parts is carried out by our headoffice. Here parts are held available and are despatched in any possible way requested by the client, and according to matter of urgency.
A pool of rental equipment stands available to bridge repair periods. We offer this facility to our customers against a one-off flat rate rental payment for the duration of the repair.
Service work on x-ray equipment and systems presuppose a good training. Because of that SEIFERT offers equipment specified service training to customers and service partners. Training to become an authorized service person takes place at our headoffice, and on request at the premises of our service partners- or clients.
The equipment and components send in for repair have to undergo a functioning test during the cause of a goods received inspection. On basis of the inspection results we draw up a cost estimate for the repair work involved. The actual repair work only starts on receipt of the customers signed approval.
