# XND : readme.pc The easiest way is to run xnd on a pc operated by LINUX, but it is still possible with MSWindows : the binaries have been compiled using cygwin and they require cygwin1.dll which can be loaded from www.cygnus.com (GPL license); if you wish to use the line command or scripting facilities you can load also bash.exe. Then rename xnd..cygwin into xnd.exe. Note that cygwin1.dll can be the current directory. By default, to run xnd using bash you have to type ./xnd.... For easy use you can use a link to these programs. If you do not wish to load the tgz file, a pc file may be found in the pc directory. jfb oct 2003
