The program PLATON should implement without problems from the
files in the UNIX subdirectory.

The fortran source compiles with the RedHat 5.2 distribution. 

On smaller systems (core + swapspace) a 'segmentation fault' will
indicate that a smaller version should be tried. This can be done
by changing the parameter NP21 to say  2000000 globally.
