All individual files for implementing and running DIRDIF are stored in 
directories:
dirdif/allunix: for all computers, with FORTRAN source files, etc.  or
dirdif/allpc  : for MSDOS PC's, with executables, etcetera, + DBOS.ZIP.

These directories are mainly used for inspection of single files,  and 
for distribution of individually corrected files.    Getting all files
from either directory   allunix  or  allpc  costs more transport time!

Read the dirdif.primer = DIRDIF.PRI  to learn what DIRDIF is all about 
     and to learn about our nomenclature.
Read files 'install.bat' or 'ddmake', and/or
     the files ddimplem.unix  or other ddimplem.XXX files for detailed
     instructions about how to implement DIRDIF on your computer.
For some computers (IBM/vm/cms, VAX/VMS, Cyber) the implementation
     information is incomplete: let us known (by e-mail) if you wish 
     to receive updated implementation instructions.

We refer to README.FTP for normal implementations .
